The Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town
His Grace, the Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town, Thabo Makgoba, has been the patron of the programme since its initiation in 2015.
His moral guidance has provided the overarching direction for the work, and he believes this work is part of his pastoral duty to the people of South Africa, given the legacy and reach of the mining industry in our country.
IFCA Board
Secretariat and Steering Committee
The Secretariat provides professional administrative capability to the programme, while the Steering Committee provides advice and input to the board, as well as a communication channel to members.
The Steering Committee is made up of representatives of several South African mining companies, unions, and faith leaders.
